Giving to the Lord

We cannot currently gather on Sundays at KCC, but our costs as a church are only reduced by a small proportion during this time. Please maintain your giving to the Lord, and your support for Light House. Besides giving through online banking, there is a new way to give - called Givt.

The best way to give, with the least transaction costs, is by bank payment direct to the Light House account. We would very much appreciate you starting, or continuing, to do that:
  • Sort Code: 60-05-16
  • Account number: 18521231
  • Name: Light House
(Please put your name in the ‘Reference’ box so that we can accurately record your giving.)

But in these days of lock-down, when we are unable to meet, you may wish to use Givt to replace the cash giving you would have made on a Sunday morning.

Elim have set-up a new method for giving using Givt that you can do using your smartphone. Simply follow these steps:

  1. Download the Givt app to your phone.
  2. Set-up your details there to authorise a direct debit on your bank account for your giving. It is not a regular or repeating charge - you decide when and how much you are giving each time.
  3. To give at any time, you enter an amount and then either choose Light House, Harlow from a list of churches and charities in the app or scan the unique QR code ( t he one above is the specific QR code for Light House ).

All giving through Givt can be Gift Aided - there is an on/off preference button in the app. However, all giving through Givt is anonymous. We won’t be able to give you a report and register our thanks to you for your giving at the end of a tax year (which some of us may use for our tax returns). Also, all giving through Givt carries transaction costs for the receiving charity.

Thank you for your ongoing faithful giving.
